Message along with what everyone else has said...

you got to get comfortable with the car, in all aspects.

I autocrossed a friend's Stage IV? TTz and it was hard to control, but I was still capable of being competitive. You just have to learn how to apply the right amount of throttle.

Tuning is also an immense part. If you plan on modding the car and running like BSP or BP... use a boost controller to dial in preset peak boost at different RPMs. This will help with the traction loss when coming out of a turn.

The ONLY problem i see with a TTz being competitive is how the power kicks in when the turbos spool...once you overcome that, it's a great car to autocross (and spank those C4/C5 vettes in BSP)
